Considering its size, Switzerland offers a surprising variety of landscapes. From fjord-like lakes, wild streams, pristine forests, bogs, and mountains to vast highland plateaus: The beauty of Swiss nature has inspired generations of poets, writers and painters and it has a lot to offer for landscape photographers as well. In 2011 I was lucky enough to chose Zurich as my new home base and I since had ample opportunities to explore Switzerland's breathtaking land- and mountainscapes.
