Photographing Middle Earth

When I first discovered the mythological creation of J.R.R. Tolkien more than 20 years ago, it had a profound impact on me. The deep appreciation of nature that speaks out of his literary work strongly influenced my approach to landscape photography. Paying tribute to J.R.R. Tolkien's genius and the power of his imagination, below you can find my personal photographic interpretation of the imaginary world he has created.
